A mechanic identified as Waidi was on Saturday, February 13, crushed to death by a Kia Saloon car and thrown off Obalende bridge. The victim's mangled body landed in a residential area under the bridge.
According to an eyewitness, the tragic accident occurred when the victim alighted from a bus on top of Obalende bridge and dashed across the road without looking. The corpse was deposited at Lagos Island General Hospital mortuary.
